Minutes, reports, conference planning and program materials, committee files, membership handbooks and directories, photographs, publications, newsletters, and other records of an association of professional occupational therapists founded in Minnesota in 1932. Conference programs and conference planning are the best documented aspects of the association's activities, but there is also information on member recruitment and publicity, the licensure of therapists (1950s, 1970s), surveys of professional salaries (1973, 1980-1986), professional training courses in Minnesota (1966, 1980), and the use of occupational therapy in Minnesota public schools. The bulk of the collection dates from 1960 to 1994; earlier material consists of a record book (1942-1952), occasional correspondence, clippings, and pamphlets (most of which were not published by the association). Also included are slides related to the association's 50th anniversary celebration (1972?) and photographs which document the occupational therapy program at Asbury Hospital (Minneapolis, Minn., 1920s), occupational therapists at work (1960s), and association conferences and exhibits (1960s-1980s).
